Z: Easy questions

Maybe a little late to be asking, and another look I may just recall the answer myself in the morning, but I'm driving my Z and J to town (10miles each way) tommorrow for a parade. After fresh 30wt and grease all around, got thinking maybe should top off the rear-end and a shot of grease to the wheel bearings too.

The former, I'm not sure if there is a check plug on the side to know when it's full - and for that matter if it matters which plug I remove on the top to fill it.

The latter, those are some odd looking zerks. I know neither tractor has had them greased in at least 10 years, but then neither has put on as much as 10 miles total in the same time frame either.

Oh, on a tangent note: made a couple rounds with that MM plow a month ago. Not enough to get it to scour at all, and by the time I was somewhere close to guessing the right adjustments the weather went nuts and has every since, but at least I had it in the ground for a bit!

There is a check plug on both Z and J transmissions, on the right side near the belt pulley. 140 wt. oil.

Can't help you on the grease fittings, my Z and U has regular automotive grease fittings in the caps. (The U has MT part numbers on it for some reason.)
