I just acquired a 1960 M5, and among the items it needs soon is an air cleaner.
On the original Machine, this was a rain cap, cleaner body, and oil bath bowl (3 parts). For the unit I got, these are all gone. I am having trouble tracking down the last two things, all I seem to find is the rain cap (or a pre-cleaner assembly).
My question is, does anyone know where to get these, or can you adapt from other manufacturers? I am trying the salvage yard/auction/ebay route with not much success so far, and I followed the links to manufacturers/resellers on this site.
So I guess my biggest question is about adapting, or building an air cleaner from scratch???
