Looking for photos and information about G1000 Vistas. Good photos seem to be scarce online. If anyone is willing to share photos, please contact me via email. I'm particularly looking for photos of restored or nice, original survivors. Also, are there any books or magazine articles that cover this model in any detail? So far I have only seen one article in Tractor Shop magazine. Are there any others? Thanks.
 
Thanks for the link. These pics are great. Unfortunatley, they're only tiny thumbnails. I'd like to find them in their original, full size. Anyone got 'em?

Thanks, Howard. Yes, I'm mainly looking for Vistas. And I'm mostly interested in pics of nice originals or restored tractors. Stuff from the scrap yard or neglected tractors aren't as interesting to me. If you have any that fit my criteria I'd love to see them. Feel free to email them to me, if you like. Thanks for posting what you had.

Here's a possibly dumb question about these tractors. What are the cone shaped things I sometimes see on Vista rear wheels? They cover the axle shafts and project outward in a cone-like shape. I presume they're some sort of dual wheel mounting? From a distance they look like a massive rear axle hub... kind of like a giant version of a front axle hub sticking through the rear wheel. Very odd looking. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Like on this tractor:

Where were these pics taken? I believe that there is a G900 sitting in between the wheatland 1000 and the 1000 with a cab. I am almost ceratin it is the tractor I recently bought from a guy. Did you take any pictures of it?

Howard, are your Bridgeport photos online anywhere? I've been looking for photos of all the tractors at that sale. I know there were some online galleries at the time but I can't seem to find any now.
 

Yep - sorry, most of my pics are from the "low rent" district...

Seems like I've got one tractor out there that has one wheel one way like in the picture you mentioned and the other side is different. I'd have to get out to the farm to look for sure...
