Finally someone caught me putting 1055 I have put this all over the place stating that and no one has said anything. Anyways I'm looking for one to farm with. Our M670 and GVI just aren't gettin it done.

Good choice in tractor model. My favorites are the 50 series. Bought a G1050 LP earlier this year. I am partial to the lp tractors. Really would like to find a descent A4T lp with 3 point and PTO. You wouldn't think that tractor is as agile as it is, but it gets it going. Actual by todays standards a small tractor.

I prefer the lp tractors too since most of our MM's are propane including the 670 and GVI, but for some reason dad thinks we need a diesel.

We used to have a G1350LP that ran great and did a good job, But after the G1350 diesel got it's new injector pump it really pulled hard and left the LP in the field. The fact is the LP engines just don't have the torque out put a Diesel engine does. Some could argue the diesel has a bigger engine which it does.

I won the obstacle course with my A4T 1600 at the K & O Steam and Gas engine show last year. I cut as close to the barrels as anyone. I ran just for entertainment value, but I am going for 2 wins in a row this year.

The tractor Rodeo is August 15 at 7:00 pm in the grandstands. The A4T will be competing in several classes. On a side note - this A4T is a 20 speed. Kind of an odd A4T.

This tractor has a 5 speed gear box with a 2 speed "crash" box like all A4T's. It has a Tourqe Amplifier that is oiled by a pump that mounts below the engine oil pan. It drives off the crankshaft. It is a poor looking set up but has never given us any trouble. I am not sure how the oil lines under the motor have survived but they look original with Red paint. Guess I should post a picture so this would be a little clearer to you. I'm not really sure how to describe it. I just know it is handy as heck when you are pulling an 8 ton fertilizer spreader and want to shift down for a corner. That or you need to shift up in the "Lazy Hired Man" contest at the K & O Show.

Where are you located? We have a 950 we are overhauling the engine right now and a couple of A4ts one 1400 and one 1600 both are diesels.
