I have a MM UT generator and starter that I need repaired. Someone on here suggested Ken Werner of Classic Generator in TX.

I did have email contact with Ken in December of last year and now I have lost contact with him completly.

I have been trying to contact Ken Werner in Midlothian Texas. When I send him via email since the January of of this year, I have not had any replies.
I went to his website, www.classicgenerator dot com, and found a phone number of 817-473-1448 but when I call that number the operator tells me that the number is not a working number.

I tried directory service and they have no listing for Classic Tractor or for Kenneth Werner. Hummmmm

Has anyone here had contact with Ken Werner at Classic Generator in the past two weeks? If so, what is his current contact number?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the responses. I fully appreciate what you are saying about cost by local shops vs. sending to a specialest. I live in a small rural town with limited mechanical services. Also, I want a first rate job for an original restoration of a UT.

The problem is solved. His phone number is 817-473-1448. I made contact with Ken this evening. His phone number for the business is also his home phone number and he lives in a different town from his shop. I also was spelling his last name as Werner and is actually Warner.

Ken is a great guy to talk to and I hear his work is second to none. I will let you know when I get my starter and generator back.

Thanks again.

If you have a reputable automotive alt, starter, gen repair shop in your area, they can do as good or better at a more consumer friendly price than these "specialty" shops.

Had a neighbor who fired clay pots. Was looking at his display of $10 pots and across from them were $20 pots. I remarked to him that the both sets of pots looked the same to me. He replied, "Some people like to buy $10 pots, and others prefer $20 pots." Nuff said.

Probably weren't made with the expertise of the $20 ones or with union labor or by illegal immigrants or a monkey instead? Many specialty shops are that for a reason: stock hard to find parts, know where to get obsolete parts, details like reproduction Delco tags and .....
