MF 2705 cab

Can't get the door to latch. It's kinda sprung. Maybe you can see from the pic that the gap at the bottom is about an inch wide and get narrower as it goes up.

Any adjustment that can be made?

Most likely is the hinges are getting wore and sagging down, there is adjustment at the top. Pick the door up some and see how much it has!

The bottom hinge is worn. The pin (welded on a plate attached to the fender) and the hole in the bottom of the door are worn.

What I do is either make a new pin and plate or modify the old one so that the pin is a little further bake on the plate. You need a new pin, it will be worn badly. You move it back a bit to make up for the wollow in the hole on the door.

We have a 2675, a 2705, and a 3505 and I have had to do them all. Tried putting in a high density plastic bushing one time, it didn't last long.
