2 gas engines in early 65s.

Read there were two gasoline engines in early 65 tractors. Mine is 1959, and of course the plate is gone off the engine. How can I ID my engine? Are there any external differences? Also need star washer and friction plates for throttle linkage, are these available from dealer?

There were 2 different diesel engines, and only the Continental G176 gas engine here in the US.

You should be able to get the throttle parts you need at places other than a dealer.

Thanks for the pic. I have them ordered from the dealer now. Couldn't get the air cleaner screen (the one on top to keep larger particles out) nor the gasket/seal that goes between the air housing and the hood. Any ideas on that?

There is an arm with a hole in the end of it that just flops at the bottom of the Throttle rod. Looks like it may have had a spring hooked in the hole. What is it?
