MF 20 stuck clutch question

This for those of you that have had a stuck clutch on your Massey. If you drove it or pulled it to break it loose did it stick again? I tried pulling it with my truck, but it didn't work. I will pull it down to see how bad it is sticking and may just spend the money to buy a clutch. At this point I would rather pull it down and see where the problem is. Thank you for your time. I did just buy the parts and service manuals from here.

I'd keep trying to free it up and if you do block the clutch pedal down if it is left sitting for any length of time. I've had a couple stick. Some tractors have a locking mechanism to hold it down. I had one but can't remember what make it was.

I have had stuck clutches on many things over the years. Some I have freed up by driving them around holding the pedal down some did not. The ones that freed up some would stay free some would not. Have a 1965 Ford 1 ton that the clutch stuck one time and has never done so again. My 8N well it sticks when it wants to and other times does not stick. On the 8N I block the pedal down when parked. NEVER have tried to pull one to free up a clutch since that puts less power to it then doing it by driving it around.

Start it up and drive it around in a relatively high gear. Hold the clutch pedal down continually and keep going until the engine warms up to operating temp jumping on the brakes from time to time. I've found that some I thought were never going to free up suddenly let go after the engine warms up and transfers some heat to the flywheel..

I got my Ford NAA loose by holesawing thru the housing, sticking a long screwdriver in to pop it loose. Plugged the hole with a thermos stopper. I can measure where the hole is if you want.
