MF35 oil filter cross reference

No MF dealers close by, does anyone know of a cross reference for internal type oil filter element from one of the big box or auto stores, orille'y, autozone,napa or advance? I tried to look it up online and all their websites require a car/truck make model for a search.

Z-134 ? If so a Napa 1010 will be the one you need.

This is the one I use Napa filter 1010
Note the old canister type filters have a washer and spring that goes in first to push the filter up against the body of the tractor,
Many times the washer and spring have been lost over the years,

I used shell rotella 15w40 oil in my tractor, holds good oil pressure with this oil,

Thanks, actually I have both a 1961 MF35 gasser and IMT539 which was a reproduced mF35 diesel from Europe. Looking at the gasser
it looks like the canister would be tough to get off, the steering arm/link appears to be in the way.

The steering arm is close but the canister comes off with no problem.

For the Z134 I have the following corresponding oil filters for the MF:
MF 835817M91
NAPA 1010
Wix 51010
Fram C3P
Purolator L20110
Hastings LF102

Tractor is identical to performance of the MF35 Diesel, strong running and easy on fuel, reproduced from 1980-1990. During the war years over there the tractor production was halted, then started again in later 80s, not sure which tractor I have, early or late model. I just posted a photo in the [tractor photos] section, I will try it here but not sure it it will work.

Did you locate this tractor in North America, or have it imported?

What make of an Engine? Perkins A3.152 or Perkins AD3.152?

They were sold in the US until war broke out in Bulgaria, after the war they started production again but most all US dealers had moved on to something else by then. The engine is a clone copy of the Perkins 152cu in. Later after this series, in 90s they used actual Perkins diesels. These can be found all over the US, just not alot of them out there to start with.

Is the oil filter on the other side of the engine?

Yes on the right side near the front, looks like a screw on filter mounts vertical but uses internal element
