MF 135 UK power steering

My UK 135 factory power steering has never worked . I have replaced the pump, both cylinders- still no power steering. Does anyone have a UK 135 with factory power steering that still works ? I am thinking about power steering conversion kit , removing all factory power steering equipment.
 
I just finished a hydraulic repair on a customers 135 UK in my shop with power steering and it works.

I also recently repaired a 600 ford with power steering that didn't work and did the proper troubleshooting to determine that the problem was in the gear motor under the dash and didn't just throw parts at it.

Your's has a gear motor also, without seeing it myself I would have to say that your pump and cylinders may have been in working condition and just fine.
 
If the spool valve actuator link end pins are worn, the power assist valve won't shift either way as it should. Link ends and pins MUST be in good condition for the valve to work right. Used to replace those parts a lot on 65,165, and 175 models too.
 
Hi, as Dieseltech has said, it is absolutely essential that the actuation of the system occurs. The adjustable top bearing must also be correct. Barrel adjustment shold be carried out as follows; make sure that there is no play in the upper pin and top end of the barrel. Remove the lower pin. Turn the steering wheel to the right until all free travel is taken up.
Adjust the barrel insert until the lower pin can be fitted in the spool yoke.
Remove the pin and lengthen the barrel by ONE COMPLETE TURN and refit the pin. Secure with new split pins. If all is in order you should now have equal actuation of the spool in both directions.

Thanks to everyone for the information on UK mf 135 power steering .I need to replace actuator link end pins on spool valve. Where can these parts be ordered ?Pins-1850 748M1 ,pins 354 039X1 ,thanks again-RAD
