Just received my new clutch parts and wonder how everyone cleans the sheen off the flywheel. Degreaser then sand paper???

Brake clean, and sand paper. I use a DA sander with something like 60 - 80 paper on it, keep it flat, and move it around when its on the flywheel surface (don't let it sit in one spot). You won't get all the shiney off of it, but its better than nothing.

If you have a basic machine shop nearby, I'd have the flywheel surface ground. It will eliminate any possible problems with your new drive clutch plate "shuddering" after fitment. Costs AU $70 here in Australia to have it done, I wouldn't think any more than US $40 your way there,
just a thought, Evan.
