I can find the Perkins engine oil dipsticks all over the internet and salvage yards but am having trouble locating one for my 1959 MF65 gas continental engine. Anyone know where I might find one?

Have you checked with this site?? I know thy list them but not sure for which engine

yes, thank you, or at least I searched their parts online and the dipstick they display is (or at least I'm fairly certain, its for the diesel model MF65.) I ordered one like this a few days ago and it ended up that the bell housing/cap is too small for the C. gas.

Have you called them?? I know they say if you cannot find what you need or need more info to call and talk to them. I know they made a lot of both gas and diesel MF65 so they should carry parts for both

I just finished a 6 or 8 year search for an air breather tube for a 65 gasser with the Continental. In all that time I was searching under Massey 65. Happened to be looking for something else under "Continental G176" and found one. My advice would be to look under both Massey 65 gas and the Continental G176 for the dipstick

Interesting subject. I checked the oil in my MF65 gas just yesterday, had changed the oil the day before. Under the
clear and clean oil I noticed for the first time how fancy the dip stick was compared to one in a 2015 pickup truck.
The MF65 distick is heavy, flat side for the measure, half round on the back side. Very high quality.....for a
dipstick. Sorry, can't help your search.
