MF245 stumbles under load

So I have done everything I can think of and the problem continues. I have event pulled the distributor and cleaned and lubricanted the weights. Cab is a new Zenith from YT. Starts up as runs nicely until it has any load at all. Compression is good on all cylinders.
How does the timing advance work? I think this has to be the problem.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

What does the spark look like?? It needs to be a good blue/white at the center wire of the distributor and at all of the plug wires and needs to jump a 1/4 inch gap or more.

#2 you need a good steady flow of gas out of the carb drain plug that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes.
#3 how is the air cleaner??
#4 does choking it hurt or help??

Good to hear from you Old. Those things are all good to go. Do you know how the spark advance works? I can?t help but think that is where my problem is.

Spark advance works a lot like a governor works. The weight move out as the RPM comes up and turns the plate the points are mounted to, to advance the timing

As the other guy says point gap is very important and if wrong can cause lots of odd problems. Also the condition of the spark plugs can be very important. Now days I switch all my tractor over to NGK plugs since this crap gas fouls the Champs and auto lite plug fast
