Tea20 electrical

Im having a few problems with the electrical on my Tea20 which has a 12 volt system and would appreciate and thoughts. Its been in the wet a bit lately so I am suspicious that it is a bad connection but cant find it. The starting solenoid on the gear shift is intermittent, sometimes it would turn over and then it was completely dead. When I turned the power switch on the light would show but now its not doing that either, initially when the light stopped going it would still crank but the engine wouldnt fire but now its all dead. Battery is good, fuel is good, so Im assuming a bad connection somewhere. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

You say battery is good how do you know that?? Have you had it load tested. That is the only way you can know it is good.

That said check your battery connection remember clean tight and bright. Very easy to have a poor connection at one or both battery cable and that is the most common problem and will cause ALL the problem your having

Thanks, I will check this. Battery is only about a month old though and was cranking really well before it died. Appreciate the help, cheers Richard

After I cleaned ALL cable connections from battery and stating solenoid, I had to then do the below.

Removed the Battery "EARTH /"GROUND" and connected directly to STATRER mounting STUD and problem solved.

Is your electrical system an ORIGINAL from the factory 12 VOLT?
Is your electrical system an original from the factory 6 VOLT converted to 12 VOLT?

Made a bit of progress (can only work on her in the weekends) and with the earth tidied it cranks but wont fire. Battery is good (12 volt system) but oddly the power light has stopped glowing when I turn the ignition switch on (it also cranks when the ignition switch is off). There is fuel in the bowl so I am presuming something in the electrics like the coil? Any advice appreciated thanks
