MF175 Remote Hydraulic Stuck

When I mounted my 10' drawbar Bushhog this spring, and connected the lines to the remote, I found that I couldn't budge the remote actuating lever (which is the factory control). At first I thought I hadn't seated the lines properly, but I've repeated the steps, and the lines are snugly attached. I also confirmed that the ball valves on the lines (and the receivers) are free. I feel like the lever is mechanically stuck - it's not that it's trying to pump and can't. Any suggestions about where to start? Thanks!

Which remote style? A true aux remote or the one on top of the transmission below your seat. First thing I'd check is if maybe the detent is cranked down tight.

It's under the seat, looks factory built-in. It was working fine last year, and nobody has worked on it. What's the detent, and could it have changed just sitting?

On that there is a nut and a screw there on the handle that you can set the detent at. I wouldn't suspect it could have changed just sitting but just a thought to try. Another thing could be rust in the handle. I don't see how the spool itself could freeze up since it always has oil in it.
