14.9x24 tires

Anyone know of a good place to get a pair of 14.9x24 tires preferably on rims for an MF202?

(quoted from post at 17:14:22 04/19/18) Are your rims in that bad of shape that they need replacing.

I have no idea. I've never seen them without a tire. I know that Tucker Tire has some pretty good deals on 11.2x28 tires with rims for the 8N but my 8N's tires are fine.

I have no one in this area that deals with mounting tractor tires and no experience with dealing with them myself. I was just hoping to get the tires on rims to make the job a lot easier. That is if the price was somewhat reasonable.

I've changed a few tractor tires out over the years, once you learn the little tricks (like the guy in the video used) its not all that hard. It's a lot easier to change the tire while the wheels are on the tractor, if you take the wheel off you have to deal with moving the weight of the wheel along with the weight of the tire.

Hello CARYC
I've been there done that. I too needed 14.9x24's and rims for my salvaged MF2135 (same as used on my 202)I started out by purchaseing a pair of new 24x12 inch 6 loop rims from ebay seller completetractor
for 2 rims total 290.00 but unfortunately the six mounting loops on the rims did not line up with great accuracy with the mounting holes of my original MF cast wheel centers, it was difficult to determine
if the problem was in the rim or my original MF cast wheel centers as I had to take my cast wheel center and hold or suspend it a couple inches above the rim loops then insert the six mounting bolts into
the rim center and sort of force or pound them into place to seat the wheel center against the the rim loops. It just did not seem to fit quite right so I had to return them. But in retrospect I think maybe
you also need to purchase the stamped steel rim center disk for a better fit but its just a guess, then you have the added expense @ 239.00 for each disk . .I ended up driving north from southern Cal about
five hours and I picked up two
used rims @ 125.00 each. from Myers Ward tractor and equipment company in Riverdale, CA.
The tires were a totally different situation, I purchased the tires from Tim Wells Mobile tire service in Lancaster CA for somewhere appoximately 325.00 +/- ea. (I cant remember exactly) but I shopped
around first and Tim had the absolutely best price and these guys were absolutely awesome. I called Tim Friday morning and said he would have them Saturday morning so I made the 70 mile trip, drove into the
shop with my new rims and they were already there waiting, they had the tires mounted in minutes, there was no fumbling around, they were extremely fast and accurate. Tim also has some 9N's of his own.
