MF65 - oil flow but no pressure

Hi. New to the forum, thanks for accepting me. I have a 1959 MF65 gas that shows no oil pressure. I disconnected the pressure gauge line from the block and at tick over it shoots oil about 4ft. I blew the line out and it doesn't seem to be blocked but when I connect the line to the block and start the tractor I get just a trickle of oil from the line which I can almost stop just with finger pressure. I'm new to vintage tractors so I have no idea where to go next. Any ideas? Cheers Gary.

Gauge is probably defective. Get a regular pressure gauge with the right pipe thread and screw it directly into the block to test oil pressure. could be a small piece of crap plugging the small hole in your gauge.

Always, always, ALWAYS try a different gauge before you believe you have no or low oil pressure. I speak from experience...expensive experience!
