MF65 air intake

Can this thing be welded? I haven't had much luck finding a
different one. Is it aluminum, magnesium, or?

Probably cast aluminum and a good welder could weld it and sand it down so it would be hard to tell it was ever broken. Some of the welders in the maintenance shop where I worked were able to perform miracles on metal.

Do you need all the intake parts, or just the aluminum scoop?

Just the scoop. Actually the scoop, screen and badge would be nice.

Find me an air tube from the air cleaner down to the carb for my 65 gas and I'll give you the scoop off mine, no badge on it.
