Hello all
Im in the process of getting my 202 running and installing a massey ferguson model 200 loader which has the four bar linkage(very heavy loader assembly).I originally assembled this tractor from a later model 202 engine and trans combined with a early model front axle and support from a workbull 202 which had a solid cast front axle as opposed to the later model 202 fabricated front axle.
I purchased the engine and trans as salvage from my local Massey ferguson dealer and when I was loading up my salvaged gem a massey ferguson mechanic commented that the front axle of a 202 would sometimes crack from the weight of a loader. Has anyone ever experienced such a failure?
