MH 33 GIRF ... question about hydraulic cylinder operation

Two questions:
1) can someone explain the usage/operation of the three ports off
of the hyd cylinder? there is one on top, two on left. I'm currently
using the front left and top to raise and lower a disc and other
implements ... however there is usually a "lag" in when the
implement raises? due to the 3pt raising/lowering ... which
leads to the next ?
2) the manual shows there is an adjustment available to freeze
the 3 pt and just use the hyd for a pull behind implement. An
illustration on p43 of the operators manual has insturctions for
opening and closing the shutoff valve. It seems to say that the
hex nut is a locking nut, but mine seems frozen, and the slotted
plug inside also seems very difficult to turn ...

Any help, nfo with this would be appreciated, as I would like to
have a responsive pull behind. Thanks

You are correct about the hex nut and slotted screw, good luck trying to loosen them.
You could eliminate the cylinder and valve altogether and run a set of hoses to a
remote cylinder on the drawn implement with a valve to control it.

(quoted from post at 21:46:07 04/06/18) The hex locking nut must be loose before the cylinder valve will turn. A
big box end wrench any a drift hammer should help.

Thanks for replying ... I for got to ask which way the hex nut
loosens? Clockwise or counter clockwise?
I assume the slotted screw inside tightens clockwise.

Don't want to bang on it the wrong way and tighten it ...
