3rd function / Loader hydraulics on 135

I'm thinking of adding a pto hydraulic pump to my tractor to fix the slow loader. Can i also add a 3rd function to the loader just by installing a 3 spool valve? I'd like to have 3 spool with float if possible as I have no float now. I want the 3rd function for a loader mounted snow blade to angle the blade.

I'd go with a crank shaft driven pump instead of the PTO type. As for a 3rd function yes one can do that and most loader valve set ups have afloat on at least one of the valves.

Thanks for your reply. I would love a front pump but its a big pain on this tractor. I'd need alot of parts and apparently no one makes a kit.

I second that motion, I'd avoid a PTO driven pump and spring for a crankshaft mounted pump. Most of the parts are still readily available. You may have to fabricate a few brackets, but that's easy.

If you run the loader off the PTO (rear), you'll have to remove the pump to do any PTO work (like brush hogging, mowing, etc...), and then your loader won't work. It's much more convenient to use a crank driven pump. Easier to tuck the lines out of the way, too.
