Recently purchased a 2002 MF 451 and need to replace front tires. It has 6.00x16, which I am guessing were the original size. Can I put 7.50x16 on the same rims?
 
You should be able to put the 7:50s on with no problem unless you find a clearance problem in the axle area. On my Ford 841 I put wider tires on and had a problem with one of them rubbing on the spinal area but I was lucky it did not rub enough to cause any major problem. I did put washers on each of the lug bolts and that was enough to stop the tire from rubbing
 
Real hard to measure something like that due to not being able to be for sure how the tire will sit on the rim. The 7.50 will sit wider and taller then a 6.00 will and depending on how wide the rim is the tire may also sit more like a balloon tire. I have 235?70R16 LT truck tires on my Ford 841 now due to it having a loader on it and the tires sort of float on soft ground
