The original subject was "Re: MF 135, gas power, Perkins engine fuel tank removal".
the original post was walking someone through the removal of the fuel tank. John, or anyone, are you moving or removing the rear fuel tank support bracket(which also supports part of the throttle linkage) when you remove the tank? The rear of the tank does not seem to lift high enough to clear the bracket. Upward lift of the rear is limited by the front rocking downward, and bottoming out on the upper radiator connection. The spring at the center mount underneath was not offering much give. There was only one spring in place(both carriage bolts were there), and not sure if this is an original spring. The spring is a little over 5/8" long, 1/8" wire, and quite stiff.
