I got the tractor back together this weekend and took it at for a spin no high multi power. The horizontal bar that goes between the upper rod and the lower rod was bottoming out on the bell housing. I thought the valve was moving all the way but it was not. I put the bar in my press and flattened out both bends in the bar just a little. Put it back in and adjusted and now shifting normal.
Now on to the electrical problems. Found out it was not charging the battery. someone had put the wrong regulator in the tractor and thought they could make it work. It does not. the correct one is on order and I have to figure out how everything should be wired. the wiring has been messed with and have no confidence any of it is right. Have to start tracing down wires.
