Massey 2745 fuel issue?

After working all morning without any issues, the 2745 quit just like you pulled the engine stop. Tried taking a line off an injector and cranking- no fuel comes out. New fuel filters 10 hours ago. Didn’t sputter, stutter, or anything. Before I start tearing into it, looking for any ideas. Thanks in advance!

Which injection pump does it have? The original CAV DP15 rotary, [ I sure hope not ], or either Simms or Bosch inline? Makes a difference on service/repair work.

I have not taken the hood off yet, but when I peek underneath it, I can see it is an in-line model.

Is the lift pump still on it and connected? A lot of them have been converted to an electric pump. Just so you know the fuel has to travel a long ways to get to the
injector pump. If original yet, goes from tank to water trap down under corner of cab, then up around the motor to the lift pump on the side of the injector pump , then
goes back down to the fuel filters, ya back down by the water trap, just to be sent back up to the injector pump. Confused yet? LOL

I am fairly certain it is still in mechanical lift pump. I have never heard an electric pump run when the key is turned on. If I understand correctly, I should be able to remove the line from the inlet side of the fuel filter assembly, and crank the motor, and fuel should come out of that?

It's actually a Simms pump. When the original DP15 started tossing there cookies in droves Lucas/CAV made a Simms conversion kit to replace the morphadite DP15. Then MF switched the tractors to Bosch MW/RQV pump/governor assembly. Simms/CAV P5697, /1, and /1GC were used on MF2745. P5702 and /1 were used on 2775 and 2805 tractors. I attended the DP15 service school years ago in Michigan. Thought it was a joke then too. The idea of any rotary pump is keep it simple to keep the cost down. That pump is not simply built OR cheap..
