Trying to id a diesel 35 with serial # SNM 252249.Looked through tractor registry and some are 61 and some are 63. Then there's SNM with the z134. Time to ask for help.

Tractordata has 1964 serial numbers beginning at 247605,
so my guess would be a 1964 model.
S = Normal width chassis
N = Diesel Perkins A3.152
M = Dual Clutch

Wait a minute!
Another place shows Ferguson FE35 and Massey Ferguson 35/35X serial numbers as ranging from 220614-267527 in 1961...
so I do not know.

It shall be interesting when you find out what it is you have?

I had a MF FE 35 X in the shop ....however, the COMPLETE Steering Column, Transmission cover, gauges, and dash (serial # is affixed to dash) had been removed from a MF 35 with the 4 cylinder diesel Engine (Tack had never been connected) and installed on MF FE 35 X.

Owner had to return all parts....3 cylinder Perkins is not the same as the 4 cylinder Standard engine.

Bob....

1964. thanks. You wouldn't think such a newer tractor would be so rusted together. I've redone to20's that weren't this bad bolt and nut wise and worst of all is a Florida tractor.
