#3 Massey knotter timing

I'm working on my #3 Massey and can't get
the knotters timed. I've bought several
manuals but none cover knotter timing. Can
anyone help me out.

Should be a timing decal on the baler too, that's what I used in the field anyway.

All the balers I have worked on have the needles entering the chamber about 1 1/2 inches behind the hay plunger.

My timing decal is gone. Does anyone know of a good manual I can buy. I bought three different ones off eBay but none are any help

If it's like the #9 the only timing is to have the chains tight and move the bolts in the sprocket on then end of the packer crank.

I think I have the pic in the #9 manual.
