555 throttle linkage pins

Fellas

Taking apart the throttle linkage and a notation in the parts manual has me scratching my head. The part descriptor for the one pin for instance is "Pin, shaft to lever (1/8" x 3/4" Groov)" What does Groov mean. Should just come out with a hammer and punch no?

Thanks

John

It is a groove pin. Unlike a roll pin, it is solid, with a groove pressed in the side swelling the center of the pin. Yes it should punch out. Usually come out easier on the side it went in from.
