MF 35X Injector settings

Hello, does anybody here know what type of threads it is on the MF35x injectors? Im gonna change nozzles and need to buy a test pump with correct threads to adjust the nozzles. What is the correct setting, I have read 122 bars, is that correct?

Thank you. I thought it was 1/2" unf, since the tractor is built in England everything is in inches, but obviously the injectors must have been made in another country then since its metric.

The CAV injectors are made in England too. Most common pump/injector connection years ago in the US was the 9/16 X 18 Ermeto sleeve fitting. Most common now is the 12MM X 1.5 and 14MM X 1.5 thread pitch, both have sixty degree cone seats. Allis Chalmers were the last to use the old Ermeto pain-in-the-arse sleeve line ends.

hi there Dieseltech.
wondering with your experience and knowledge if you can help me out.

Can a MF 135 CAV pump be used on a 35 perkins diesel with CAV PUMP. I know the governor spring settings are different but can easily be changed to match the 35. My understanding is that the plungers in the rotor are bigger on the 135 pump. and the pressure setting for the injectors are 2700 psi compared to mine at 1835.

I can get a new old stock CAV pump for the AD3.152 engine that were for diesel generators for almost nothing as it's my dad's friend who
serviced these generators for years. . The pump is the same number as a 135. I want to use it or the parts from it to recondition mine for my 35. If I use the parts like the rotor head would I have a problem with the fuel delivery being too much as the plungers are bigger? or does it matter as my injectors pop off at 1835 and any excess fuel goes to the leak off pipe. If I set the roller cage fuel setting from the new pump to match my old pump would it matter and also I have my circlip marked on my housing for reassembly and for timing for the E.

thanks very much for your time.

Scott
