Hello Ian,(I'm assuming that you are in the US or Canada?) the special
tool number MF365 is not recognised on this side of the pond. Can you
be more name-specific for which tool it is that you require?
UK numbers and descriptions are;
MF 163 Control spring nut tool.
MF 271 Roller removal tool/Draft rod setting gauge.
MF 226A Hydraulic cover removal tool.
MF 333 Draft-rod setting tool 165/168/185/188
MF 270B Dashpot piston wedge.
MF 273 Weight hanging support bracket.
MF 272 Ram arm stop/setting tool.
MF 269 Response adjusting tool.

Hi, still not on the same hymn sheet!!! The tools used to set the 2 to 3 thou clearance are largely readily available
The ones required are the daspot wedge and ram arm stop tool. The wedge is used again for final setting when the cover is fitted. Can you be more specific on where the tool is to fit?

we will try that again

Hello Ian, we are getting somewhere now! Your tractor is after serial number 361108 because it is fitted with the later pump control linkage which was introduced on the 200 and 500 series which followed the 100 series. I believe that I have the tool in the picture if that is the one you are seeking. Can do a sketch and measurements for you.

Hi David - this is a long shot as your original post was several years ago ... but do you still have the dimensions for that tool?

Welcome to the Forums.

I will suggest in the future you will help yourself by starting your own post and fully describe your needs. This site uses two different views. Modern View brings old posts to the "top". People using Modern view will see your post and the original post you are tagged onto, so they see the "whole" story related to your post. People using the Classic view are only seeing your post as "Re" to the original post, none of that original post since Classic does not bring old posts to the top like Modern does; they stay in the list where they were posted in time, where your post shows as a current post. People, using Classic, can swap over to Modern to see the original post, but likely many will not bother to do that. Sometime in the near future (if all goes well) the site format will change and the two views will go away and a new one with features of both will replace them.

So that people using Classic can see the post you tagged onto I am attaching a link to it here.
