What is the best way to roll the engine over to set the points?

If the fan belt is as tight as it should be you should be able to grab the fan and turn it simple as that. I have done that so many times I cannot even think about counting how many

Thanks, tightened the belt a little tighter and it worked better. Still slipped but was able to position the lope where I could adjust it

Some times one need to grab the fan in on hand and push in on the belt with the other hand. Or if you want to hassle with it pull the plugs out and it will spin over pretty easy
