I mis-identified my 275 as a 245 in a previous post. Our impoverished non-profit inherited the tractor from a previous grazing tenant.
I'm trying to start the machine after many years of sitting. At first, the lift pump wasn't working, but after removing it, it seemed to suddenly function, as if the mechanism had been stuck. I'm now getting fuel to the bleeders on the injector pump, but not at the injectors. I woke up this morning wondering if the "stop" pull control is maybe a "run" control? Should the knob be out or in to "run". I have no info about the tractor from the original owner so the injector pump could be faulty.
It almost fired using starting fluid, but the battery was too tired by that point, and jumping from my idling truck was pretty feeble. Headed over with a fresh battery next trip.
