Tractor will run for 30 min. then shut off and have to primed. The fuel return line does not have flow when the tractor is running but does have a constant stream when being manually primed.

I have done: drain tanks -clean
replaced lift pump- seems to work great
changed olives on line from tank to lift pump
constant bleed office is open- fuel come out when primed but not when running
Tank cap is venting

Possibly a stuck injector ? How to test?

You don't have enough fuel flow through the system while running, could be supply pump lever action is lost some due to wear, filters need changed, or NAPA/WIX filters installed with an extra O ring blocking the top filter outer groove, that's the inlet. It MUST be left open. A correctly working fuel system WILL have some return fuel back to the tank at all times while running.

The lift pump is new and the fuel filters are new Napa filters.I believe the fuel filter o rings are installed correctly but I am not 100% positive . Fuel comes out the fuel return when being primed and the constant bleed orifice .

It appears to be new fuel lift pump was not pump enough fuel. Changed it with another new one seem to have resolved the problem with losing prime and having flow with the fuel return line.
Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for letting us know, may help someone else in the future. The way the fuel system is designed any time there's NO return fuel while running that's a sure sign fuel flow is restricted, or not enough in the first place. Excess fuel back to the tank is what lubricated and cools the injection pump, and keeps air out of the injection pump inlet.

I keep a new, spare lift pump around (just in case) never know when you may need it.
