I just bought a Massey Harris 102 senior. I only paid 300 for it. is this a tractor that's worth restoring

I would certainly think it would be worth $300 if only for scrap iron!!! Condition of course enters into value if u plan to to sell parts or restore it!!! I certainly would think u did ok!!!!

it needs some work. it's not seized but is rough. all the tins are there and in really good shape though

Course tires are a big factor as well but the tin if Good is certainly a plus!!!! Parts for that continental motor are not hard to come by either!!! What are ur intentions for it???

I had a 101 SR that I pulled my sawmill with years ago. Wish I had never sold it. Good power horse on the sawmill.
Got any photos?

I'll get some pics later. I was thinking of restoring it. it also comes with an old shaver post pounder. I think it'll be fun to do. it's totally complete

Restore or fix up?????????????? To restore one need to bring it back to what it was when it rolled out of the factory. Or are you talking about fixing it up?? I hate the term restore because few ever do a true restore and to call a tractor restored and not be a true restore is not right

I just noticed the tractor has spoke rims. does that mean it's a different model. I know that Canadian 102s could be 101s so is she older than I think. I'll post pics later this weekend
