starter for MF 30 Industrial

Hello.
I just followed the advice of many of you and replaced my alternator on my MF 30 Industrial with a GM alternator. Well, now the starter seems to be dragging pretty bad. According to my manual, it is a Delco Remy 1107870. Series - 20MT. Type - 125.

I will probably take it to see if it can be repaired by a local guy, but are there compatible replacements found on a vehicle that I may could buy in stock for cheaper?
