Tafe tractor

I just posted this in tractor talk and thought this forum may be more helpful

well I drove a stick up through my radiator yesterday and it has a hole about the size of a quarter. I have a Tafe tractor 45DI and was wondering if a radiator from a Massey Ferguson MF 35 or similar would fit. also has anyone fixed a rad with a hole in it like that.
thanks

Last count showed 96 water tubes in a TEA20 Ferguson tractor's radiator which is similar . It depends on just how many tubes have been punctured as to how well it will be able to be repaired . A quarter as I understand it is about an inch across, if you are fortunate it might only have broached two tubes , you could crimp and solder these shut without compromising the performance greatly .

All Tafe model parts are direct replacement for MF's, except for the Tafe 25Di, it was the only model that was not a direct copy of a MF tractor.

thanks for all the info, knowing the parts cross over to MF will make buying parts much easier. I am taking the rad to a garage that does this after new years. hopefully it wont snow until after I get it back in. we had 10 inches of snow the day after I drove the stick through it go figure
