I have a Massey Ferguson MF20 industrial tractor with the Perkins gas motor. A couple weeks ago I had to replace the ignition coil and the distributor cap wires and points were changed about 4 months ago. It was running good up to a few weeks ago. I wasn't able to start it could the coil had sprung a leak and leaked some of the oil out i replaced it and got it started again it was running good till the other night I got home and went and plowed snow with it after about 30 minutes it started running really rough it back fired a couple times and was on the brink of stalling luckily i got it back in the garage before it stalled

I bet I have posted this well over 100 times. TROUBLE shoot then parts never the other way around.
#1 check that you have a good blue/white spark that will jump a 1/4 inch gap at the center wire of the distributor cap and at the plug wires.
#2 Pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in les then 3 minutes and yes catch it to look for water etc.
#3 when was the last time you checked the air filter if oil bath water and mud causes odd problem if paper type a lot of dust causes odd problems.
If it runs ok until it get warm run it and then do those test when it starts to run poorly
