Did the 135 have a live PTO option?

Looking at the tractor data the 135's had a live PTO option, but the ones I always see are transmission driven PTOs.

Thanks.

Not sure about the 135 but the 35 had a dual stage clutch option. Clutch halfway down the machine stops but PTO continues to turn, all the way down the PTO stops.
More than likely something similar.

The 135 is exactly the same way as the 35, most had a two stage clutch as Inno described. Some 135's had the rare independent pto, I have yet to see one. All the 135's I've seen had live pto. I also hadn't seen any 135's with the old single clutch transmission pto (the one you need to use a over run clutch on).

My grandpa had a 135 with an independent pto. I have seen a couple more, not many. I have one that my Dad bought new, it has a 2 stage
clutch. They must have made a few with a trans driven pto, because a local mechanic told me last year he put a clutch in one.

Hello, thin on the ground on your side of the pond as well then? I think
that I have only come across 1 also in my 40 years with MFs. I think it
may have been due to the fact that people did not want to spend the
extra money for the IPTO on a 'small' tractor when they bought it new.
For the early 100 series IPTO would have been something completely new
to them.

(quoted from post at 03:15:15 12/09/17) I've have always believed a two stage clutch was "live" PTO ????? what is independent PTO?

Independent pto has hydraulic activated clutch pack (like a automatic transmission), you don't need to depress the clutch pedal to engage, or disengage the pto.
