My hyraulics stopped working. I pulled the cover off the top and theres no oil coming from the tube at all. Is there a coupling on the pump that may have come apart some how

When the PTO SHAFT is engaged does it TURN?
PTO shaft is driven off aft end of HYD. PUMP.
I had to replace a HYD. PUMP in my MF FE 35 X last Spring.
Does Tractor operate properly other than HYD. System?
Hyd. OIL level?

PTO is working as it should. Oil is full or even a bit above the full
line. Although it dogs have a bit of water in it judging by the color

If the PTO is working properly ?........there is nothing wrong with the HYD.PUMP Drive Coupling,as the power from the bottom shaft of the transmission is splined into the coupling that drives the HYD. Pump,the out put end of the HYD.Pump drives the PTO shaft.

After you have checked as per pictures, and you lift the TOP COVER here is the Jig I used.

It could be a stuck control valve, or maybe (but unlikely) the bypass valve is stuck open. Since it has water in the fluid it can stick the control valve depending on how long the water has been in it. Also the strainer if it has one could be plugged up full of gunk, and not be letting the fluid in the pump.
