I need advice on which size hydraulic pump to mount on the front of my Massey 175 to operate my 236 loader. I don't have enough history
operating this loader so I'm not sure. I understand that if the aux and lift pumps are combined on the tractor then the total flow is around 12.8
GPM @ 2000 RPM. I was looking at a pump that is 21 GPM @ 2000 RPM but I think that this might be too big and may operate the loader too
fast not to mention the required size of the fluid resivoir. Now I,m looking at a pump that is 15.5 GPM @ 2000 RPM and 12 GPM at 1500 RPM
which is the approximate engine speed that it will likely be operated at most of the time. Does anyone have any advice on how many GPM it
takes to operate a 236 loader with decent speed but not over doing it?
Thanks,
Dave
