MF 35 External Hydraulic Operation

I have a 1962 MF 35 diesel with the dual valve set up. #1 spool is capped off and #2 spool has aux, couplers hooked to it.
I have a snowblower with a hyd. chute rotation that i would like to use on the rear of the tractor.
I can get it to work but it is very confusing.
Is there a straight forward step by step operation procedure that I'm just not getting?
I can make the 3 point lift and lower and make the chute rotate but it is a complete myriad of moving all 4 levers to different positions just for two simple functions.
Am I missing something?
Please help!

I have read a bit about switch valves on this unit.
Do I need to do something with them? As in screw them in or out?

The left lever is locked back for three point use, placed in the center for the right lever to work the cylinder BUT the three point lever MUST be all the way up to turn the pump on. If the three point is up, the internal linkage shuts the pump off unless linkage is over ridden by placing the draft full up. Try this and see if you can use it this way, place the position lever full up and use the left lever to raise and lower the blower. Leave in the center when you can so the right lever will work the cylinder when needed. With the left lever all the way forward the three point should go down if I remember right. I'm thinking you can raise-lower the three point with the left while leaving the quadrant position all the way up.

Thanks for the info! I'll give that a shot. Sounds pretty straight forward.
Do you know anything about the switch valves located below each spool?

Ok so with the quadrant and position levers in the full back position and left lever in neutral, the right lever works the chute fine.
But left lever will only lift the 3 point. It will not lower. It feels like the pressure is dead heading.

The late spool valves did have screw switch valves under each spool. If I recall turn the screw full in for double, and full out for single action. Try turning out the screw under the left valve, if that does not help try turning it in. Pretty sure it should be out, allowing the left lever to lower the three point when lever is fully forward.

Unfortunately the switch valves made no difference whether they were in or out. It still works the same.
Any other ideas?

Okay, so I don't know what the hell I did wrong the first time but this is how it works:
Position and draft control both fully back.
Both switch valves fully out.
Internal cylinder restrictor backed out.
Left lever works the 3 point up and down.
Right lever works the chute rotation

Thanks to Dieseltech for your help.
