MF40 Backhoe Dowty Slew Actuator (Swing)

Hi
My new to me MF40 Backhoe slew actuator seems to slew ok but will not hold position, it will move to the downslope side due to gravity.
Do they have load lock valves in the actuator to hold them in position or is the valve spool closed centre?
Or could it be the internal seals, either way it's strange that it seems to have plenty of speed and power if the seals are leaking?
Not sure what model backhoe it is?

Serial No. of backhoe is MF40 2129 Australia.

It'll be in the slew motor, shot seals on the paddle and stop.
I got my last lot of seals from Ludowici at Geebung in Brisbane. Ph. 07 3667 8717. They will need samples to identify and source.
You might also be able to get these from Griffith Traders at Wauchope in New South Wales. Ph. 02 6585 3833.

Hi Masseynut
I will try Griffith Traders tomorrow, they have them listed for a tilt seat unit, which this is.
You wouldn't know what model the hoe is by any chance?

Just looking for a seal kit for a Dowty slew actuator at he moment for a MF50. Griffiths have no stock and are having trouble contacting their supplier. I wonder if you still have a copy of the info you gave the seal mob, or better still an invoice with part numbers for a reference?
Fingers crossed
