I am looking at a 383 massey ferguson with a cab that a friend of mine has for sale. It is kinda rough on the inside but cosmetically speaking the outside is in good shape with fair paint and no rust. New rubber all the way around and the tractor has 4100 hours on it. The tractor has a 236 massey ferguson loader that is fair shape with no patching or welding done to it but paint is rough. The known issues are the air conditioner doesn't get real cold and the fan blows but doesn't seem to blow very hard. Their is something going on with the lights that will have to be addressed. The only lights working are the flashers. He is asking $15,000 for the whole unit. There is no engine blow by and no leaks. 3 point hitch and hydraulics are working properly and clutch is very good. What is a guestimate on the value of a 383 in this condition? I will try to get pictures this week when i can get back to the tractor.
