44 aftermarket oil filter

I brought home a 44 that's next stop would have been the scrap yard. Normally, I'm an Oliver man, but this project just called out to me and perhaps I needed a change-of-pace. Yea, I'm very much aware of how much the parts for these engines cost.
Anyway, here is the oil filter that's on it. At first, I thought that it needed to be replaced by a factory unit, but I guess it has grown on me, like a bad rash. LOL. It's definitely an eye-catcher, probably because some people would say it's ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb. I suppose this was an aftermarket company that promised the farmers that it would be SOOOO much better than the original. I have not opened it up yet. I'm not sure how much bigger the element is than the factory unit. Anyway, what do you think? Keep it or replace it with an original? Anybody seen one like it? Anybody heard of this brand?

Late model original filters were mounted on a slight angle to clear the hood when changing the filter.....but that one has a definite cool factor..! Ben

Thanks for keeping it from getting scraped. Too much old iron goes in that direction. Keep the oil filter, it's a good conversational piece.
