Ignition Part Numbers Z134

Can anyone give me the Napa part numbers for points and condensor for the Z134 Continental gas engine? This is for the distributor with the snap on cap, not the screw on cap.

I have a 1958 MF202 Workbull.

Thanks Guys

I know a guy who rebuilds old distributors for cars, so I'm trying to contact him for any help on finding good ignition parts instead of the cheap Tisco, A&I, etc ignition parts. Hopefully I can find something out soon.

(quoted from post at 10:30:39 11/02/17) I could get you that info for the O'Reilly's auto parts store but not NAPA

Please do so as there is an O'Reilly's two blocks down from Napa.

Do you know if it is a Delco or auto liter distributor that can make a difference

It should be the old, cast iron body Delco-Remy 1112570 if I remember correctly.

I love the simplicity of points/condenser systems, but after my third bad condenser I got tired of the cheap junk being manufactured today and went electronic. No issues since then.

If I could have found a good source for quality parts, I'd have stuck with them. :(

I managed to find a Delco Remy farm, and industrial electrical parts manual (has 11 pages for MF ag, and ind tractor parts), I should have it sometime next week.

Thanks very much for the numbers. It has the clip on cap but how do I now if it is a Delco-Remy? Is it supposed to be marked somewhere? I can seem to find anything and I don't want to pull the distributor out just to look for marks.

OK guys...I got the Borg Warner parts. But the box say made in Mexico. The Delco-Remy box doesn't say where they are made.

I really want Blue Streak since I hear they are made in the USA.
Trouble is that the Auto Zone, O'Reilly's and Napa in my town do not carry blue streak parts.

From the numbers given in this thread can anyone get the equivalent numbers for Blue Streak parts? Also where can I even get Blue Streak parts.

It shouldn't be this hard to buy American.

Ok, here's a funny thing.

I got the BW points and condenser that they had in stock. The boxes say "Made In Mexico". At that time they ordered the rotor for me. Also BW and came in the same box but when I picked it up, this box said "Made In USA". Go Figure.

After doing some cross referencing here are some part numbers I came up with in ACDelco, Standard/BlueStreak, and NAPA.

Wow, very good info to have. Thanks so much, I copied this and put it in my tractor folder.

"OK guys...I got the Borg Warner parts."

As an "FYI", caryc, no you didn't, you bought SMP.

Borg Warner divested themselves of their ignition parts line a LONG time ago, and the boxes we see now are simply marked "BW".

Standard Ignition, Standard Ignition "Blue Streak", BW, NAPA/Echlin, GP Sorenson, and Neihoff and a bunch of others are all brands/trademarks owned by Standard Motor Products/SMP.

"Some Standard products are sold under private labels, including CARQUEST, Cold Power, Duralast, Duralast Gold, Import Direct, Master Pro, Mileage Plus, Murray, and NAPA (NAPA Belden, NAPA Echlin, NAPA Temp Products). The company's own brands include Standard, BWD/NIEHOFF, Intermotor, OEM, LockSmart, TechSmart, and GP Sorensen for engine management and Four Seasons, Factory Air, EVERCO, ACi, Imperial, COMPRESSORWORKS, TORQFLO, and Hayden for temperature control./
