have a question I have a 66 Massey 150 with the 145 gas engine the original generator was replaced with a alternator ive got it charging it works fine but my question is do they make a adapter to install the tac cable to this alternator or do I have to covert the tac to a ele. would like top keep it as factory as possible

There is a GM one wire alternator available that has the cable tach drive on the back of it. Most tractor parts places like YT, or places like ebay should have them (but they do cost a bit more). You could put a cheap tach from your local auto parts stores, but they are usually 8000 rpm tachs so the needle won't move much.
