65 power steering

I have an issue with the power steering on my massey ferguson 65. the power steering seems to work fine when turning to the right but not at all when turning left. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

It's actually power assist steering. What is happening is the linkage is not centered correctly, which during turns moves the spool valve further one way than the other. Most over time need new link ends and pins, as any wear on these parts makes steering even worse because the spool valve stops moving as it should each way, so the assist cylinder does not turn on. Best get a service manual and study it, then it will make sense how it works.
