I have an MF65 with the Continental G176 gasoline engine in
it. What is the correct modern engine cooling system
antifreeze?

You just need the common run of the mill green stuff in a 50/50 mix. I do not buy the premix stuff since in doing so you are also paying a high price for water. 100% antifreeze is around $14 per gal and 50/50 is around $12 so if you do the math your spending a lot of $$ on water

When I rebuilt the engine I charged with 50/50 Sierra (propylene glycol) instead of standard ethylene glycol products. I observed during recent work, there is a white corrsion building on the radiator veins where they're soldered to the upper tank. Does anyone have experience with this product and its effect on the engine and the rest?

Mixing the 2 types of antifreeze is a big no, no and can/will cause odd problems to the point it can cost a guy an engine. Now days if I am not sure which type was used I buy the new universal type so as not to run into any problems
