I just had the carburator sent in to a shop to have it soaked and a kit put in. Ive got the carb reinstalled and i cant get the thing running. I have tried having the
Adjusting screws set to different starting points that i have heard to start from and seems like i cant get it right. I have to full choke it and put my hand over the intake to get it started and it wont stay running long enough for me to adjust anything. I dont know what to do. It kills befor i can even monkey with the adjustments and i dont even know which way to go. Ive tried about every differnt starting point i have found to have the screws set at.

I will take it apart and look.. im Not as familiar with the carb as i hoped the guy i paid would be. Is it easy to figure out?

If you need any individual parts, i have had good luck with these guys.

They even had a new venturi for my 882 carb that i couldn't find anywhere else.

Most M/S carbs I rebuild have a ring it sits in. Plus it only fits one way unless you want to bend or warp it out of shape or brake it if it is plastic

Before you pull the carb off try this. Pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes. Could be as simple as a stuck float which can happen just by a carb bunching around in your car seat
