The Internet provider that has transmitters on our property, asked if they could use our MF FE 35 X to power a MASSEY FERGUSON MODEL 1 HOLE DRILLER:

Simple and worked great:

The extensions on the Hydraulic lift arms came in handy:

First time I've seen a MF MODEL 1:

John,
Are you aware that if you had gotten the post hole digger auger hung up on some underground obstacle,

You can jack up one rear tractor tire off the ground, hole down the brake on the opposite wheel,
Place the pto lever in ground speed option

When you let out on the clutch the tire off the ground will turn in reverse, but also the pto shaft will turn in reverse and the post hole digger auger Will reverse itself right out of the ground,

Hope you never need this option , just another use of the ground speed option,

I tried it once using my TO35 tractor and it worked great,
Hope you never get the auger hung, but it can happen in a instance,

I just notice in my infinite wisdom, I never mentioned that you have to put the transmission in reverse to make this reverse rotation happen,

it will also work on a plugged up cornpicker, but I do not know anything about a plugged up haybailer, might get it out of time,

again, just some information that I hope you never have to use

Most hay bakers have an over running clutch, so they wouldn't do anything. Trick does work on pto powered potato diggers and rock pickers though.
